WElcome!

We’re so glad you found us!

Welcome!

We’re glad you’re here and hope you find our growing and vibrant community of faith to be a place you would like to learn more about. You will find us to be a community that is diverse and progressive; one that takes the Bible seriously, yet recognizes that God is still speaking in so many ways to us today. We are Open and Affirming, socially minded and VERY active in our community.

You will find good music, great preaching, a wonderful Youth Program and many ways to get to know people and become active in the community. We are good but imperfect people doing our best to follow the words and example of Jesus to deepen our faith, help each other and put love into action to make the world a better place. You will also find us to be warm and welcoming.

Curious? Have any questions? Have fun checking out the website and then call or email Pastor Shawn. He’ll be happy to answer any questions you have.

Where do I park?

You can park in the parking lot on either side of the church, where you see the old hardware store or the movie theater. Either side will get you access to the church.

What will service be like?

The service is a very traditional service. We start with announcements, call to worship, then music, a sermon, a response time, and finally a closing blessing.

Must I be a member of the church to partake in Holy Communion?

No. We believe that everyone is able to partake in Holy Communion whether you are a member of our church or not.

Is there a dress code?

No. Please come as you are. You are welcome here. Seriously.

How early should I arrive for the service?

We begin a 15 minute countdown at 9:45 am with a prompt starting time of 10:00 am. So anytime during that period is great. But also, you can feel free to come as you please.

Where do my kids go during the service?

We have children’s church during the service. Children are dismissed part way through the service to go and learn about the love of our Savior. However, during Covid, we are all online. So we do not currently have children’s church available.

Who's welcome at Bloomfield?

Everyone. Seriously. No matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you’re welcome here.
